Everybody Makes Mistakes.

Everyday of every week, month, and year we make mistakes. It's impossible not to make mistakes. You may feel terrible for making some mistakes, but you really cannot help but make mistakes. But you can help how you deal with them. Do you just set your mistake behind you and forget it happened? Or do you ask God for forgiveness and learn a lesson. Obviously, there is a smarter choice which is to ask God for forgiveness. Making mistakes is something we can't control. What can I say? "Nobody's perfect, you live and you learn it, and if I mess it up sometimes, nobody's perfect", -Hannah Montana.

The song "Nobody's Perfect", is a great example of making mistakes and learning from them each time until you get it right. If you make a mistake, and you feel absolutely horrible because the person you did wrong is giving you a hard time, don't be so hard on yourself. If you have truly apologized and expressed why you did it, and they still don't forgive you, they're in the wrong. They're making a mistake. God forgives us for all things and loves us no matter what.

Ephesians 4:32 says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Once you have apologized for your mistake, there is nothing more you can do. You also have to forgive yourself and learn from your mistakes.

When turning to God and repenting, asking for forgiveness, but you feel God will judge you, you're worrying about nothing. God will not judge you for your mistakes, for he will forgive, love, and teach you. He wants you to be Christ-like. He understands we all sin and doesn't judge us for it. All you have to do is trust in God, open up to him about the situation, and ask him for some help, because he wants to help you. Once God forgives you, you should feel better.

For example, I made a mistake one time and it caused my best friend to lose trust for me. I was beating myself up about it and I was a mess. She had already forgiven me and she handled the situation well. Here's my point. Even if someone else forgives you, you never fully feel better until you forgive yourself and God gives you mercy.

Back to Hannah Montana, "Nobody's Perfect". If you ever watched Hannah Montana you would have probably overlooked the song just to be for the show and to get the audience hyped up and want to tune it next week. But when you really analyze the song, it has such a good message. Sure, it is from a 2006 Disney Channel kid's show, but it teaches the young kids watching that nobody is perfect and that everyone makes mistakes. Made a mistake? Don't beat yourself us for it, live it and learn from it as Ms. Montana would say.

Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand."
